The M+ Museum Design: Love it or Hate it?3-7-13

A few days ago the WKCDA finally announced who would be designing the M+ museum at the West Kowloon Arts District. It's been a much talked about project in the art community with 642 million dollars being invested in the project. Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron was finally announced the winner and based on the photos that were released, this blogger is a bit underwhelmed. It's not Hong Kong Cultural Center ugly but it certainly doesn't have the visual impact that the MoMA or the Centre Pompidou have.

Bad Behavior at the Theatre5-6-13

A couple weeks ago, I read an article online about an audience member who had charges filed against him for breaking a woman's cell phone. Apparently, the lady was refusing to turn off her phone during the production and had irritated all the audience members around her.

Review- Mousetrap-Lunchbox Productions10-10-12

On the 9th of October 2012, Hong Kong was provided the pleasure of hosting Lunchbox Theatrical Productions' performance of Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap. The Mousetrap is the quintessential "whodunit" and has been deemed the longest running play anywhere in the world. It has been playing at the West End for 60 years and is still going strong.
