Wanted: Interns


HKELD is currently searching for two dynamic, young, art loving individuals to be our Fall Interns. These positions are unpaid but sometimes come with perks. Because HKELD is an online magazine most of your intern duties can be done from the comfort of your own home. Interns are required to attend a weekly staff meeting on Tuesday afternoons. Students are more than encouraged to apply. Earn valuable work experience and get a hands on look at the English speaking arts scene in Hong Kong!


A passion for the arts is a requirement of these positions.


Intern Position 1- Creative
Area of Study: The Arts, or Journalism
Language Requirements: English (both written and speaking)

This intern will be responsible for helping maintain HKELD's ever growing calendar by doing research into upcoming productions. This intern will also be covering the music/visual art scene. There may also be opportunities to write for the website as a guest critic. Other responsibilities including research, development and community outreach.


Intern Position 2- Event Planning
Area of Study: Marketing, Communications, or Business
Language Requirements: English and Cantonese (both written and speaking)

This intern will be working closely with our new Digital Marketing Manager to help build a new marketing strategy for HKELD and help move our company to the next level. Get real world experience in online web sales and pitching to corporations! This intern will also help with our popular podcast.
